The SUSI Global Student Leaders Program is a five- to six-week academic program offered by the US embassy in many countries. The SUSI Global Student Leaders Program is an excellent opportunity for international undergraduate students who have great leadership skills and they want to improve these skills. The program's purpose is to provide foreign university students with a deeper understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions. Participants are selected through an open, merit-based competition.

The SUSI Global Student Leaders Program will provide undergraduate students with an opportunity to develop and improve their leadership skills, expand their knowledge of U.S. society, culture, and politics, engage with American leaders in various fields and build their professional network.

The SUSI Global Student Leaders Program offers 3 main topics: Women Leaders on Civic Engagement, Religious Diversity and Democracy, and Economic Empowerment. You will choose one of these topics to apply to.

The SUSI Global Student Leaders Program consists of a four-week academic residency in US Institutes to take interactive classroom activities, seminars, lectures, group presentations, site visits, leadership development, and cultural activities. And a one-week integrated study tour in the USA.

The SUSI Global Student Leaders Program is a Fully Funded Scholarship covering educational activities, flights to and from the USA, accommodation, and a stipend. It is considered one of the best cultural Scholarships in the USA.

Duration of SUSI Global Student Leaders program:

·        Five-to-six-week (the program will start in late June 2023).

·        The program dates are not subject to change.

 

Eligibility of SUSI Global Student Leaders program:

·        International students can apply.

·        Undergraduates (freshmen, sophomores, and juniors).

Have at least one year left of their undergraduate studies so seniors (final-year students) can’t apply.

·        Have a strong interest and background in leadership and civic engagement.

·        Have a high level of academic achievement reflected by grades, awards, and professor recommendations.

·        Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

·        Have little or no previous travel or study experience in the USA.

·        Not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States
